The H.E.R. Method
Heal. Embody. Receive.
A three-part path back to yourself
You’ve spent a long time being capable. You figure things out, keep going, and carry more than your share. Those skills are real, and they got you here. But they can also become a default setting that makes it hard to slow down, trust yourself, or let yourself want more.
The H.E.R. Method is a framework for changing that relationship with yourself. It doesn’t ask you to become someone new. It invites you to pause, look honestly at what you’re carrying, and reconnect with the woman underneath the expectations.
Who’s guiding this
I’m Cece, the founder of FEMME Shift and the creator of the H.E.R. Method. For five years I’ve supported women through coaching, workshops, and one-on-one sessions, helping them make more honest choices and build lives that feel like their own. [Learn more about my work →]
H: Heal
Release what no longer belongs in your next chapter.
Healing starts with honest attention. Before you can change a pattern, you have to see it clearly.
Many of the beliefs and habits we carry began as ways to protect us: staying strong, being useful, keeping the peace, anticipating everyone’s needs. They may have helped at one point. They may not fit the life you want now.
Questions to explore:
Where do I operate from fear, lack, obligation, or the need to prove myself?
Which expectations am I still living by that I never actually chose?
What am I ready to leave behind, even if I’m not sure what comes next?
Healing doesn’t require reliving every hard moment. It means noticing what’s there and choosing what you’re willing to release.
E: Embody
Become intentional about the woman you’re choosing to be.
Wanting a different life is a beginning. Embodiment is about bringing your choices, boundaries, and self-trust into line with the life you’re building.
This pillar invites you to reconnect with your feminine essence, which is different from a set of traits or a rulebook for how to be a woman. It’s about your intuition, your values, your capacity for both softness and strength, and your ability to trust your inner wisdom over fear and outside pressure.
Questions to explore:
What do I value when no one else is watching?
Where have I been abandoning myself to keep others comfortable?
What boundaries would reflect the woman I’m becoming?
Embodiment shows up in small decisions: how you spend an afternoon, how you respond when someone asks too much, how you speak to yourself when you make a mistake.
R: Receive
Make room for the life you say you want.
Receiving is the pillar many women find hardest. Accepting support, pleasure, love, rest, or ease can feel uncomfortable when you’ve spent years earning your place through effort.
Receiving means allowing yourself to experience good things without feeling you have to deserve them first. It includes asking for help, letting someone else carry something, and wanting more without guilt.
Questions to explore:
Where do I resist support, pleasure, or ease?
What do I believe I have to do to earn rest?
What would it look like to make room for what I actually desire?
See the method in action
The H.E.R. Method is the foundation of From Survival to Soft Life, a two-hour live online workshop on Saturday, March 13, 2027. Together we’ll move through the three pillars with guided reflection and personal exercises, and you’ll leave with clarity about what you’re ready to release, embody, and receive.

Prefer working one-on-one?
Some women want more personal support than a group setting offers. If that’s you, reach out at hello@femmeshift.com and tell me a little about where you are and what you’re hoping for. I’ll let you know whether individual work is a good fit right now.
What the H.E.R. Method is not
It isn’t therapy, medical treatment, or a replacement for professional mental health care. If you’re in crisis or dealing with a serious condition, please reach out to a licensed provider.
It isn’t a promise that life will become effortless or that specific outcomes will follow. What you take from it depends on your own participation.
Ready to begin?
The H.E.R. Method asks for one honest step at a time. If you’re ready to take the first one, reserve your seat for the workshop.
